I am 64 and on a walker for last 7 years due to knee problems. I can no longer work as I am a hazard in a work environment, I fall down a lot. I can no longer pay my bills and my husband's bills also. My income from disability is limited and cannot find work to do from home in our small town. My husband has pension and social security but I cannot access his pension money as it was arranged before we married. He is slightly slow and I cannot make him understand that we are not rich and he cannot always have everything he thinks he wants. I have several credit accounts that I have defaulted on and tried to file bankruptcy late last year but was denied because I did not have the proper credit counselling on file. I tried to arrange payment for a lesser amount on the accounts but none of them would work with me then. I engaged a credit resolution firm and was connected with legal help, however, they somehow managed to get my checking account number stolen and I could not fulfill the obligations thay had set up. I need low interest money to pay off about 20K in debts to start fresh. Please can anyone help me?
